Uptil 2004, Zoology Department was an undergraduate department. It achieved the status of Postgraduate Department in 2005. Many times in University Annual examinations, students of the Postgraduate Department achieved top positions. The Department started BS 4-Year Degree Program in 2010. The department is situated in the main campus of the college building near the Registrar Office.
