Programs Offered

1. Intermediate / A-Level Programs

Government College of Science offers intermediate programs for the 2025–2026 academic sessions including:

• F.Sc Pre-Medical

• F.Sc Pre-Engineering

• F.A (various subject combinations)

• General Science Group

• ICS (Computer Science group)
  Admissions in these groups are typically announced annuall.

2. Undergraduate (BS) Programs

The college also provides four-year BS degrees in a wide range of disciplines, such as:

• BS Computer Science

• BS Biotechnology

• BS Zoology

• BS Physics

• BS Chemistry

• BS Economics, Sociology, English, Education, etc.
  Admissions for these BS programs have been announced for session 2026, covering multiple subjects across sciences and social sciences. 

📌 Eligibility & Requirements (Typical)

For Intermediate (Intermediate Part-I Admission):

• Applicants must have passed Matriculation (SSC) from a recognized board with required marks.

• O-Level students must submit an IBCC equivalence certificate from IBCC Pakistan.

• Documents usually required include copies of Matric certificate, B-Form/CNIC, passport-size photos, character certificate, and domicile. 

For BS Programs:

• Applicant must hold FA/F.Sc or equivalent qualification (Inter Part-II) from a recognized board.

• Minimum marks criteria typically apply but exact percentages vary by session and subject.

• Merit is determined based on academic results (Inter marks), sometimes including interest/aptitude tests. (Exact criteria are updated annually.)

• Admissions are generally advertised once per academic cycle (often mid-year for the next session).

• Application forms may be collected from the college admission office or via the Punjab government online admission portal (OCAS) when announced.

• Deadlines and merit lists are published on official notice boards and the college website.

• Late applications are usually not accepted after the notified deadline.
