Intro to Hort and Vet Science 8086

Introduction to Ag and Vet Science is the first agriculture class in both the Vet Science and Plant Science pathways. Students have the option to complete one or both of the following pathways. Below are some pictures of students helping in the landscape outside, working on flower arrangements, at rising freshman night, and at Achilles math and science night. These are just some of the opportunities students have in the intro class.

Vet Science Pathway

This consists of two courses, Intro to Ag and Vet Science followed by Vet Science.

The course codes for these classes are 8086 and 8088 respectively.

Plant Science Pathway

This consists of three courses, Intro to Ag and Vet Science, Horticulture, Floriculture, and Landscaping.

The course codes are 8086, 8034, 8038, and 8036 respectively.

Students can take Floriculture and Landscaping as the third and fourth classes, but in whatever order they are offered.
