Hi kindergarten students,
We sure do miss you! Spring is one of our favorite times of the year! We hope you are spending some time outside observing all the changes around us, riding your bike, swinging on swings, flying kites, playing with sidewalk chalk, playing catch, etc.
Please find 10-15 minutes a day to read orally, go over your sight words, and practice your subtraction facts.
Some other suggestions include working on a reading and math worksheet daily that are included in the kindergarten packet, practice writing your letters, using proper form, and writing your numbers to 100.
Also, we encourage you to get on Headsprout and continue working on your learning path, as well as working on Starfall and ABC mouse.
These things are not required but are encouraged to keep your kindergarten skills sharp!
On a rainy day when you are stuck inside you could make a card/ draw a picture for a family member or friend, play a board game, put a puzzle together, bake something in the kitchen, build a fort, make shadow puppets and maybe even learn how to tie your shoes!
We hope to see you soon! Until then, please know we are here if you need to contact us or have any questions!
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Bailey
