Hello Green Dragons and Families!

We wanted to take time to reach out to you and say thank you! Thank you for your understanding during this time. We have been facing a lot of uncertainty lately and our staff is working very hard to make sure we have a great game plan moving forward.

Communication is important during times like these. If you have not already done so, please accept the ClassTag request from your child’s teacher. ClassTag will be our lifeline during this “Extended Spring Break.” On ClassTag, teachers are giving suggestions of resources students can use while at home. You may sign up using a cell phone number or email address. If you have any questions about ClassTag, please email your teacher. Also, “Like” our Facebook page so we can continue to pass along great resources.

If you have access to the internet, check out our “Dragon Links” (https://sites.google.com/gc-k12.org/greenlinks/home_1). There you will find links to websites we use at school, as well as websites offering free memberships due to the closure of schools. If you are not able to access our "Dragon Links" programs, please let your child's teacher know. We also have instructional packets for each grade level available for download on this website.

During this time, we would love for families to focus on interacting with their students. We could:

-Read a story
-Play a board game
-Play cards
-Go on a walk
-Make an obstacle course
-Build a blanket fort
-Create paper airplanes
-Draw/Crafts/Art
-Exercise
-Play with toys
-Learn to ride a bike
-Learn to tie our shoes
-Polish up on our manners

We understand this is an uncertain time for all of us. Stay home, stay healthy, and enjoy spending time with your family.
