Dr. Goodman graduated from Creighton University with her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She worked as a full-time faculty member for GateWay Community College from 2008-2021. During this time she was instrumental in the development and success of the Healthcare United at GateWay (HUG) clinic, a pro bono (free to the community) student staffed clinic. HUG clinic provides experiential learning for students studying in the field of Physical Therapy as well as other professions. HUG clinic is an example of Dr. Goodman’s passion to address the health care needs of the disadvantaged through service in her community. Dr. Goodman has recently taken an assistant professor position in the Physical Therapy Program at Creighton University Phoenix where she plans to continue to provide opportunities for her students to learn through similar service. She has 15 years of physical therapy practice experience and has her specialization in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging to supplement the physical therapy diagnosis. She is also currently working on her PhD in Educational Policy Leadership at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Through enhanced understanding of educational policy, she hopes to improve access to equitable opportunities for students who are part of an underrepresented minority in healthcare education
