First Aid, PPE and Spill kit Location, and Sharps Disposal

First aid is emergency care given immediately to an injured person. The purpose of first aid is to minimize injury and future disability. In serious cases, first aid may be necessary to keep the victim alive.

Our first aid kit, spill kit, and Biohazard are located in the cabinet above the sink.

  Sharps Disposal

Sharps disposal containers are inspected and maintained or replaced by Facilities whenever necessary to prevent overfilling.  Contact the manager or administrative assistant at HUG clinic to empty and follow policy.
