Internet Archive, since 1996, has archived the Internet, recognizing that its content was ephemeral and unrecorded. They offer over 28 years of web history via the Wayback Machine and collaborate with 1,200+ partners through our Archive-It program to preserve significant web pages.

Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that promotes the sharing and use of creative work through free legal tools. Its easy-to-use copyright licenses allow creators to shift from "all rights reserved" to "some rights reserved," enabling public access under specified conditions. These licenses complement copyright by allowing users to customize their terms.

David Rumsey Map Collection, established over 35 years ago, features over 200,000 maps, primarily focusing on rare maps from the 16th to 21st centuries of the Americas and other regions. Digitization began in 1996, with over 133,000 items available online for free public access. Users can view high-resolution images and utilize various tools for comparison, analysis, and innovative exploration.
