All students at Gaston Day, from our PreSchool to 12th grade, may check out items from our collection.
Kindergarten through 12th grade have access to the Gaston County Library through a WOW (With Out Walls) number issued by the Gaston Day School/Gaston County Library partnership.
Upper School students may go to the Gaston College Library to obtain a library card and access their materials.
Our First through Sixth graders participate in the Literacy Pro Reading program. Literacy Pro is a computer software program that administers reading tests and tracks individual student reading progress. It is optimized for Independent Reading in three ways;
Children can connect with fiction and nonfiction stories they love in print or online, anytime, anywhere.
A variety of texts builds knowledge, comprehension, and vocabulary while inspiring curiosity to learn more.
Students can choose their reading paths and discover books that match their interests and backgrounds.
