Media Literacy
Anyone can create a website, but not all information is reliable. What defines a fake story? How do you evaluate a website? Use Gaston College's Evaluating Websites and Social Media guides for assistance.
Library Resources
The George F. Henry III Library serves the students in the lower, middle, and upper schools. Its design offers a large story-telling area for the lower school classes, as well as space and resources for individual and class research by middle and upper school students. The library’s current collection contains around 12,000 cataloged volumes. In addition to the print materials, Gaston Day students and faculty have access to electronic magazines, journals, academic audio and video clips, and primary source material through our subscriptions to online databases, online and physical materials at the Gaston County Library, and Gaston College.
