Instructional Video on WOW resources
Through a partnership between Gaston Day School, and the Gaston County Public Library, students have access to the WOW Card, their own library WithOutWalls! This virtual card gives students access to many helpful and exciting online resources via the Gaston County Public Library.
Every student gets a unique WOW Card ID from the Gaston County Library. Each card begins with WOWGDS, then has a few zeros, and ends with a number. The entire ID should have 14 characters in total.
For example: WOWGDS00000513
You may also check out up to 10 physical items from the Gaston County Public Library. These items include books audiobooks and MP3 playaways.

The Spartan Writing Club is open to all Middle School students. It is a creative space where students can explore the art of writing.
ABC Food America contains recipes in all course categories (appetizers, soups, salads, breads, main courses, side dishes, desserts, snacks, and beverages) for six US regions, all 50 states, and 33 ethnic cuisines. It also covers food culture for the above regions, states, and ethnic cuisines with articles such as Classic Dishes, State Foods, Top Agricultural Products, Special Occasion Foods, Ethnic and Geographic Influences, Special Ingredients, and Food Trivia.
ABC World Food is the only food database that contains traditional recipes for 174 countries of the world in all course categories: appetizers, soups, salads, breads, main courses, side dishes, desserts, snacks, and beverages. It is also the only database that covers food culture in six categories: National Cuisine, Regional Cuisine, Daily Meals, Dining Etiquette, Special Occasion Foods, and Food Trivia.
