If you are interested in investing in the lives of students, York Chester Middle School would like to encourage you to sign up as a mentor. Students benefit from having quality relationships with trusting, caring adults.

Those interested in being a mentor in Gaston County Schools must:

• Have a background check (completed by GCS)

• Attend mentor training

• Be able to commit to meeting weekly with a student
