Goals and Objectives

Participants will become familiar with standards-based learning and the role it plays in a student's education.

• Understand and define standards-based learning (i.e. what it means and what it looks like)

• Understand why schools choose standards-based learning and what the benefits are

• Understand where your student is with their learning of the standard and how you know they can apply their knowledge

• Understand and reflect how standards-based learning is different from traditional learning
