Click the link to view the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington D.C. This memorial was completed in 1997 and is spread over 12.5 acres between the Jefferson and MLK Memorials. Consists of 4 different “rooms” that cover each of his terms as president.
Click the link to view the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. Completed in 2004 and features 56 pillars surrounding a square and fountain. 4.4 million people visit annually. 4,048 gold stars, each representing 100 Americans who died in the war can be seen on the Freedom Wall.
