This Monthly Focus Skill at a Glance:
The monthly focus of ‘Personalized Learning’ targets the importance of designing learning opportunities that consider learner variability in needs and learning preferences and prompts educators to cultivate opportunities for students to personalize their own learning.
Examples of this Monthly Focus Skill in GISD:
Elementary:
-Teachers provide learning experiences that support a learner’s need to engage and grow through tactile, auditory, or visual learning resources through the supports located in Seesaw.
Secondary:
-Teachers use online tools, such as Canvas Studio responses, to provide feedback and guide students in altering or improving their demonstration of learning.
