Garland ISD is a Google Reference District

Reference Districts and Schools are recognized by Google for their outstanding use of technology to drive positive learning outcomes.

We have implemented a program of certifying our classroom teachers and instructional leaders in the use of the Google for Education platform. The program has been designed to be:

Certification for all levels of GISD teachers + campus and central office administrators.
Aims to make GISD a nationally recognized Google for Education  reference school district.
Based on a multi-year badging process providing certification data levels to principals and department directors alike.
