Campers will explore Texas wildlife, nature, and skies. Campers will learn all about local mammals and how to identify their tracks when hiking, all about fish and ones that might be found when fishing nearby, creepy crawly, and flying things around us that we might encounter on a campout, North Texas birds, and the skies at night!
Grade Level: 1st & 2nd

Lessons about the subjects above, plus plenty of hands-on learning that includes games, crafts, art, and some science. We will make a solar stove and cook s'mores. We will combine science with play/imagination, arts and crafts, and stories/literature.

About Camp Teacher
My experience
I have 10 years of teaching experience in elementary school and 6 years of teaching experience in pre-k and high school! This will be my 11th summer teaching camps and I absolutely love it! We learn so much while having fun. También hablo español.
