Coding Academy

Information

Garland ISD Summer Coding Academy provides students with a unique opportunity to learn more about coding, programming, and computer science in general. Students will learn face to face how to program robots, create basic games, explore computer science-related industry, and engage in many coding tools and programs such as Tynker, Code.org, VexCode, Ozobot, StemFuse, Drones, Scribbler, BB8 robots, Sphero+, Osmo, Unruly Splats, Dot & Dash, Raspberry Pi, micro.bits, Kai’s Klan, MakeyMakey, and more.

Grade Level: 2nd - 5th

Weeks: Week I & II

Note: Students can select only one week. If both weeks are selected, the student will be removed from one of the weeks according to the enrollment.

Session: Full Day

Time: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

(Free breakfast and lunch will be provided)

Location: Sachse High School

Format: Face-to-Face Only
