Exams

Exams may be new for you as you enter high school. Exams are longer tests used to evaluate your knowledge and skills in a subject. They may be worth up to 30% of your mark in a course.

You can prepare for an exam just like you would prepare for any test but it may cover more material than your other tests. Ask your teacher what you should be studying for the exam.

Final exams are scheduled during the examination periods in January and June. You may be required to write final examinations for some of your classes.

You can request to write your exam in the computer lab which is supervised by members of the Special Education department.

Make sure you complete the exam accommodation form before the deadline to get accommodations as per your IEP. Listen for the announcements.
