Arrival & Departure
Teams should plan to arrive on Thursday, 3 November 2022 by 6.00pm in time for the coaches meeting at 7.00pm in Park Royal Hotel (Kitchener Road). After the conclusion of the tournament, departure from UWCSEA Dover will be after 1.30pm on Sunday, 6 November 2022. Flights should be booked to leave no earlier than 4.00pm.
Facilities
The Girls' and Boys' Football tournaments will be held at UWCSEA Dover (AYE Pitch) and Tanglin Trust School (Playing Field).
Security
Coaches will be provided with Security Passes - they should wear these on entrance to the College campus and during the tournament. Teams need to take responsibility for their own valuables. The College has excellent security, but coaches should ensure athletes' valuables are stored away safely. Parents and spectators that are coming to UWCSEA Dover to watch the game, please ensure that you have some form of photo identification for visitor registration at the Security Guardhouse.
Food
Lunch will be catered for all teams on Friday, 4 November and Saturday, 5 November. The buffet lunch will be available at the 'Atrium', next to the Tennis courts from 11.30am to 2.30pm. Packed Lunches will be available for collection after the final presentations at 11.00am on Sunday, 6 November.
Refreshment
There will be water provided at the game venues. Schools should ensure that athletes bring a water bottle that they can refill when required as paper cups will not be provided. Drinks and snacks will also be on sale throughout the tournament.
Medical Treatment
There will be an ambulance and medics on duty at the game venues. Should we need to take an athlete for hospital treatment, we will use National University Hospital (NUH). Staff are requested to ensure that they can provide all necessary contact details and documents for insurance purposes and have the funds to cover expenses incurred.
Transport
The transport coordinator for both boys' and girls' tournaments is Carol Tolentino. Carol will coordinate transfers between the airport and Park Royal Hotel and between the hotel and game venues each day. Her mobile number, along with other important numbers are in the contact list on this website.
Presentation Dinner
This will be held in the Main Hall at UWCSEA Dover on Saturday, 5 November. The evening will include dinner, a slide show of the first two days and a presentation of one MVP award per team. We will not return to the hotel on Saturday 5 November after the games finish, so please ensure athletes bring a change of clothes with them on that day.
Gala Theme - Cultural Diversity
A chance to celebrate the diversity of all the participating schools and students. All students and coaches are invited to wear their national costumes, national colours or clothes/colours that represent their cultural heritage.
