Arrival & Departure
Teams should plan to arrive on Thursday, 3 November 2022 by 6.00pm in time for the coaches meeting at 7.00pm in Park Royal Hotel (Kitchener Road). After the conclusion of the tournament, departure from Tanlin Trust School will be after 1.30pm on Sunday, 6 November 2022. Flights should be booked to leave no earlier than 4.00pm.
Facilities
The Girls' and Boys' Football tournaments will be held at UWCSEA Dover (AYE Pitch) and Tanglin Trust School (Playing Field).
Security
Coaches will be provided with Security Passes - they should wear these on entrance to the College campus and during the tournament. Teams need to take responsibility for their own valuables. The College has excellent security, but coaches should ensure athletes' valuables are stored away safely.
Access to TTS
Overseas Schools
On Friday, schools will be dropped off at Gate D and make their way to the Playing Field. On Saturday and Sunday, schools will come in through Gate A and be dropped off on campus at the Nixon Bus Bay next to the Playing Field.
Singapore Based Schools
School should arrive to Gate C on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and make their way to the Playing Field.
Spectator Information
Entry
Spectators arriving by foot can come in through Gate C (If driving please see parking information below).
Security will stop all visitors for a regular check.
Spectators will need to show the event entry pass upon arrival to obtain a spectator lanyard for campus access. Please circulate to your parent community
Photography without flash is allowed during games.
There will be no parking on-site for non-TTS visitors, however
Please use the following parking facilities when coming on campus:
1. Our carpark lots at the open carpark at Gate C, accessible via One-North Crescent
2. The carpark at the Mediacorp building, accessible via Stars Avenue
3. The carpark at Razer, accessible via One-North Crescent
4. The carpark at the Fusionopolis, accessible via Fusionopolis Place
We have been informed that the grace parking period for the car park at the Mediacorp building has now been extended to 20 minutes. Parents who would like to drop your children off at school might want to make use of this by parking there, and then entering campus through Gate D. We have attached a parking guide so that you are aware of the parking facilities in the vicinity.
Food
TTS will be providing a hot lunch on Friday, 4 November and Saturday, 5 November for all participants, coaches and staff members. Packed lunch will be provided on Sunday by 11.00am if required.
Refreshment
There will be refreshments throughout the competition for coaches and staff members. The cafe is located on Level 2 of the 6th Form building and it is open for participants and spectators to buy food and beverages. There is also a restaurant and food court at Mediapolis, which is a few minutes walk away (opposite Gate D) where parents can buy food and beverages.
Medical Treatment
There will be an ambulance and medics on duty at the game venues. Should we need to take an athlete for hospital treatment, we will use National University Hospital (NUH). Staff are requested to ensure that they can provide all necessary contact details and documents for insurance purposes and have the funds to cover expenses incurred.
Transport
The transport coordinator for the tournament is Carol Tolentino. Carol will coordinate transfers between the airport and Park Royal Hotel and between the hotel and game venues each day. Her mobile number, along with other important numbers are on the Contact page on this website.
Presentation Dinner
This will be held in the Main Hall at UWCSEA Dover on Saturday, 5 November. The evening will include dinner, a slide show of the first two days and a presentation of one MVP award per team. We will not return to the hotel on Saturday 5 November after the games finish, so please ensure athletes bring a change of clothes with them on that day.
Gala Theme - Cultural Diversity
A chance to celebrate the diversity of all the participating schools and students. All students and coaches are invited to wear their national costumes, national colours or clothes/colours that represent their cultural heritage.
