To develop and maintain their Individual Pathways Plans , students from grades 7 through 9 are assigned a series of 4 lessons per grade in Xello, to be completed throughout the year. The lessons are easily eaccessible from a student's Xello dashboard, and are largely self directed, with teacher support as needed. The lessons focus on building self-knowledge, skills, and knowledge of the pathways and opportunities availabel to them. The goal is to develop a pathways mindset that will follow students through the transition to secondary school.
This document provides an overview of the lesson sequence by grade, including lesson topic summaries and timelines for staying on track. It also includes quick guides to some essential Xello features that will help staff support students in thier IPP journey:
how students find and start the lessons;
how to access your demo student account and preview a lesson for yourself;
