Educators should ensure that students use their board gapps email address and not their personal one. Students using their chromebooks should be able to log in via the "Continue with Google" sign in button to create their free Canva for Education account.
Staff should also sign in with the "Continue with Google" to ensure they are using the Canva for Education program which has additional security features built into this premium offering.
Users have the option to log in using their personal social media logins, e.g., Facebook, Google, Linked In, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Educators should ensure that students never log in using their personal social media accounts.
Since there is a risk that students may post content on a public site (using the 3rd party social media sharing apps,) potentially a third party may bring an action against the provider related to a violation of the terms and conditions.
Educators should ensure that students do not violate terms and conditions, e.g., intellectual property breach (trademark or copyright), appropriate use requirements related to defamation, harassment, offensive or harmful communication/images
