Classroom Guidance CURRICULUM
Mrs. Pritzl will utilize Character Strong's PurposeFull People Curriculum teaching bi-weekly classroom guidance lessons to all students at Edgar Elementary in Grades PreK-5. Classroom guidance lessons focus on providing students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that lead to academic success, career readiness, and social emotional development and literacy.Â
Purpose of Classroom Guidance Lessons
Meet students and familiarize them with the school counselor
Describe the school counseling program and how it is helpful for students
Teach students skills for success in and out of school
Prevent or react to problems before they become serious
Encourage students to be kind and respectful humans
