When moving the location of the phone within your classroom, please note the port number on the wall that your phone was plugged in to and the port you would like turned on. This information is important for your site technician to be able to move your phone. Please submit a Help Desk ticket with your request (including the port numbers).
When moving rooms within your building take your phone with you! If you transfer to a different building within the district have your new Office Manager submit a Help Desk ticket to have a new phone setup for you.
If you need your voicemail PIN reset please submit a Help Desk ticket.

Every phone has three jack-type connections on the back. The two labeled SW and PC are the ones to care about.
The SW port is what connects the phone to the wall.
The PC port allows you to share the network connection with a computer.
DO NOT DO THIS!
Do not connect both cables to two ports on the wall. This creates a "loop" and causes BOTH network ports to shut off.
DO THIS INSTEAD
Connect a single network cable from the SW port on the back of the phone to an active port on the wall. Your phone should light up immediately if the port is "hot".
This is a happy phone with an available connection for a computer to the network.
Press "CFwdAll" (79xx series) or "Forward All" (88xx series) softkey. Your phone will beep twice.
Enter a target phone number. Your phone will beep once. The forwarded number will display on the screen’s status line.
To cancel the forward call function, press the "CFwdAll" or "Forward all" softkey again.
You may simply dial the four-digit extension if the call is within the district.
You must dial 9 + the number when dialing outgoing phone calls. You DO NOT need to dial 9 to call 911.
Forget someone's extension? It's easy to find! Press the directory button (looks like a phone book) and the navigation buttons to select District Directory. You can then search by the person's name by using the number keys as letters (think early 2000's texting!).
When you receive a call that needs to be transferred silently, press the "transfer" button, press the " * " twice, enter the number or extension of the classroom phone, and then press the softkey under the "Transfer" option in the display.
