Dyes behave in a way that raw and unstretched canvas can absorb and reflect within it a language and understanding of the medium. Dyes reveal its surface and the surface holds the dye. There is breathing room in the middle which one might see as a short escape, an erased space or a space unclaimed. The positive and negative areas reveal each other and in that moment, converse.
