We are looking forward to your participation at Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences on November 6th and 7th. During this conference, both you and your child should attend. Your child will be provided with the opportunity to share their learning with you and the class teacher.

Kindergarten and Elementary School: Student-Led Conference

Please note that Kindergarten and Elementary require an appointment - see below for more details and the link to register for your slot.

• Wednesday, November 6th: 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Thursday, November 7th: 7:30am – 3:30pm

All teachers in KG and Elementary will host a 30-minute student-led conference with families in the classroom.

KG - Grade 5 Link for Booking: Booking Your Conference

Click here to book your conference times using SchoolBookings, our new parent-teacher conference scheduling program. Before booking, please be aware of your child’s homeroom section and teacher. You will need to select the correct teacher when signing up.

Please note the following:

• KG specialists will be in the main KG area outside room 83.
• KG Librarian will be in PYP Library.
• Parents who have a booking at the last slot of the day are encouraged to visit the specialist teachers beforehand.
• Grade 1-5 specialists will be in their rooms, except for PE who will be:
  • KG PE – outside room #83
  • Grades 1 & 4, 5A, 5C, 5E, 5F PE – outside PE office (green verandah)
  • Grades 2 & 3, 5B, 5D PE – mezzanine floor (outside library)

*There is no need to book ahead for a conference time with a specialist teacher.

Secondary School: Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences

Grade 6 - 12: There is no need to book ahead for a conference time.

• Wednesday, November 6th: 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Thursday, November 7th: 7:30am – 3:30pm

Secondary students and parents have a walk-in conference arrangement. All secondary teachers will be seated at desks in the gymnasium. You and your child will meet with each of your child’s teachers, as they are available for a brief 10-minute conference. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents.

Please note that there will NOT be regular classes on these two days (November 6th & 7th). We recommend students attend the conferences with their parents.

لقاء الطلاب وأولياء الأمور مع المعلمين

نتطلع إلى مشاركتكم في لقاءات الطلاب وأولياء الأمور مع المعلمين يومي 6 و7 من نوفمبر. تشجع المدرسة على الحضور مع الطلاب، حيث ستتاح الفرصة للطلاب لمشاركة ما تعلموه منذ بداية العام الدراسي مع مدرس الفصل.

مرحلة رياض الأطفال والمرحلة الابتدائية: سيتم عقد اللّقاءات بقيادة الطلاب

يتوقع من أولياء أمور مرحلة رياض الأطفال والمرحلة الابتدائية تحديد مواعيد مسبقة للقاء عن طريق الرابط أدناه. ستعقد اللقاءات حسب المواعيد التالية.

• الأربعاء 6 نوفمبر: من الساعة 11:00 صباحًا إلى 7:00 مساءً

• الخميس 7 نوفمبر: من الساعة 7:30 صباحًا إلى 3:30 مساءً

سيقوم معلمو رياض الأطفال والمرحلة الابتدائية بعقد لقاءاتٍ مدتها 30 دقيقة بقيادة الطلّاب مع أولياء أمورهم في الفصل.

• سيتواجد معلمو المواد الفرعيّة لمرحلة رياض الأطفال في منطقة رياض الأطفال (خارج الغرفة رقم 83) للإجابة عن أي أسئلة.

• سيتواجد أمين مكتبة رياض الأطفال في المكتبة PYP.

• ننصح أولياء الأمور الذين قاموا بحجز آخر موعد للقاء بزيارة المدرسة قبل الموعد للتمكن من التّحدث مع معلمي المواد الفرعية قبل موعد اللقاء مع معلم الفصل.

• سيتواجد معلمو المواد الفرعيّة للصفوف الأول حتى الخامس في غرفهم الصفيّة، باستثناء معلمي الرياضة الذين سيتواجدون في الأماكن التالية:

o سيتواجد معلمو الرياضة لمرحلة رياض الأطفال خارج غرفة رقم 83.

o سيتواجد معلمو الرياضة للصفوف الأول، الرابع والخامس (الشعب: A وC وE وF) خارج مكتب الرياضة (الشرفة الخضراء)

o سيتواجد معلمو الرياضة للصفوف الثاني، الثالث والخامس (الشعب: B وD) في طابق الميزانين (خارج المكتبة)

* ليست هناك حاجة لحجز موعد مسبق مع معلمي المواد الفرعيّة.

المرحلة الثانوية: لقاءات الطلاب وأولياء الأمور مع المعلمين

الصفوف السادس إلى الثاني عشر: ليست هناك حاجة لحجز موعد مسبق للقاءات. ستتم اللقاءات في المواعيد التالية:

• الأربعاء 6 نوفمبر: من الساعة 11:00 صباحًا إلى 7:00 مساءً

• الخميس 7 نوفمبر: من الساعة 7:30 صباحًا إلى 3:30 مساءً

أما بالنسبة لطلاب المرحلة المتوسطة والثانوية فيمكنكم اللقاء بدون حجز مواعيد مسبقة، حيث سيتواجد جميع الأساتذة في الصالة الرياضية للاجتماع مع أولياء الأمور مدة 10 دقائق.

يرجى العلم بأنه لا يوجد حصص دراسية يومي 6 و7 نوفمبر، ولكن نشجع الطلاب على الحضور للمشاركة في اللقاءات مع المدرسين.

Dear GAA Parents,

Flag Day coincides with the day HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan became President of the UAE.

In honor of the Flag Day our KG and Elementary students can dressed up in the UAE Flag color to celebrate this special occasion, While Secondary students can wear only the UAE Traditional dress. At 11:00 am GAA band will play the National Anthem while the Elementary school students proudly stand up and sing in their classes, and Secondary kids will be on the field forming mosaic flag of UAE and stand for the national anthem.

The students will enjoy several learning activities during their classes in celebration of this special occasion to learn about the UAE Flag Day

بمناسبة ذكر تولي صاحب السّمو رئيس الدّولة الشّيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيّان رئيس الدّولة - حفظه الله- مقاليد الحكم، ودعوة صاحب السّمو الشّيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدّولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي - رعاه الله - سيحتفل طلاب مدرسة أكاديميّة جيمس الأمريكيّة بيوم العلم، من خلال عزف الفرقة المدرسية لللنّشيد الوّطني لدولة الإمارات العربيّة المتحدّة، ورفع الطّلاب علم الدّولة عاليًّا على أنغام النّشيد الوطني بعزةٍ و،شموخ.

كما ندعو طلاب المدرسة لارتداء الزّي الوطني ( المرحلة المتوسطة والثّانويّة) وألوان العلم( المرحلة الابتدائيّة) تعبيرًا عن حبهم وفخرهم، بالإضافة إلى القيام بالعديد من الأنشطة الصّفيّة التّعليميّة الّتي تُجسّد أهميّة هذا اليوم، وربطت قيمة الانتماء بالمنهج المدرسي من خلال على ربط المواد التّعليميّة بالهُويّة الوطنيّة وتعزيزها .
