Hello CAS Students! Here are some new CAS Opportunities and Notices. Notices are a new addition to the CAS Weekly. Note that Notices are not a new CAS experience, but more of a reminder to the current groups and clubs within the school to get involved.

This list will be continually updated with the newest opportunities and notices. Please contact the supervisor if you wish to get involved. And...please don’t forget to reflect on your learning!!

GAA CAS Opportunities

English Support

There will be an English Support Saturday morning program for ELL Korean population. Starting March 2, 2019. This will take place in room 253. Ms. Freeman is the classroom teacher for this project. The hours are from 8:00-11:00 on the following Saturday mornings at GAA: March 2,9,16,and 23, April 20,27 and May 4.

The CAS student needs to be a native English speaker and receives high marks already in English class.

DP Course Videos

Description of Activity: We need 5 videos each under 2 minutes to explain some changed courses in the DP. This could possibly be a project but does need to be done fairly quickly.

Meeting Times: Lunch would be best.

Listening Records for Non-Native Texts

Description of Activity: Recording texts for Non-native Texts to use during lessons and to practice them in class.
