2024 B.E.S.T. Winter Term
The BEST scholarship program is now open for students who study at Juniata College, University of Montana, Southwest Minnesota State University, Florida International University, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and Florence University of the Arts.
The winter term period will start from Nov. 25th, 2024 to Feb. 14th, 2025.

In September 2024, a student from the University of Montana, USA, joined the Huayu B.E.S.T. Scholarship Program at Shih Chien University in Taiwan, participating in the Fall Quarterly Program. On November 15th, he successfully completed his Chinese language studies!

In addition to the Mandarin course, you will have the opportunity to intern as an English teacher assistant in junior high and elementary schools in Taipei. Using both English and the Chinese you learn in your Mandarin classes to communicate with students is an excellent way to practice and enhance your language skills.

In May 2023, five students from Juniata College in the United States joined the Huayu BEST Scholarship Program at Shih Chien University in Taiwan, participating in the Summer Quarterly Program. Last Friday, the successful completion of their Chinese language studies!

During the summer break of 2023, we secured opportunities for our scholarship students to participate in internships at various Taipei junior high and elementary schools. Whether as English teaching assistants during summer camps or reading storybooks to them, the scholarship students work very hard to accomplish these tasks. The students in Taiwan enjoyed their companionship, and the school teachers appreciated their assistance!
