My research is organised around a cohesive program investigating the interplay between collective action, everyday material practices, and systemic socio-ecological transition. I conceive and lead competitive research projects that are both empirically grounded and theoretically ambitious, securing funding from national and European agencies to build international research consortia. This portfolio reflects a strategic focus on how alternative, just, and sustainable futures are practically envisioned, built, and scaled—from local food democracies to new urban economies.
I have a proven track record as both a Principal Investigator (PI) and a national unit leader, managing the full project lifecycle, from design and proposal writing through coordination, dissemination, and impact. The projects below represent the core pillars of this ongoing intellectual agenda.
