Session Description

Hybrid Session: 365 Kaplan Hall + Zoom

Thursday, May 19th 3-4pm PDT

To be followed by a hybrid UCLA ALL BRAINS Workshop from 4:15-5pm PDT

In this session, panelists will engage in “lightning talks” about the importance of neurodiversity, accessibility, and inclusion in the higher education classroom. Participants will hear about the disabled experience on campus and be provided specific recommendations regarding ways in which TAs and instructors can better support neurodiverse students. The panel presentations will be followed by a brief audience Q&A. The session will conclude with a hybrid workshop organized by UCLA ALL BRAINS, a student resource providing support for “students with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences.”
