Creating Connections
2022
Welcome!
The Creating Connections symposium is an annual event that brings together UCLA instructors (graduate students, faculty, and all others interested in undergraduate education) from around campus for conversation around teaching generally, and writing pedagogy specifically. This symposium was organized by students in the Graduate Certificate in Writing Pedagogy in consultation with faculty and staff in UCLA Writing Programs.
All events are free, and we welcome interested UCLA graduate students, instructors, library staff, and administrators to attend. Although not required, we encourage participants to bring relevant ideas for assignments, activities, and teaching strategies to share at each session.
We will check UCLA symptom monitoring for all in-person events and strongly encourage masks for indoor events to keep immunocompromised members of our community safe. If you require any accommodations to participate, please let us know via the RSVP form.
For accessibility needs, please see our Accessibility Guide, created by Emily Frake.
