Monday:  Workshop Review.

Tuesday:  Workshop Test.

Wednesday:  Take notes and discuss hourly pay and overtime.  Assign Lesson 1.1 and 1.2.

Thursday:  Take notes and discuss timecards.  Assign Lesson 1.3.

Friday:  Take notes and discuss piecework and salaries.  Assign Lessons 1.4 & 1.5.

Monday:  Takes notes and discuss elapsed time and reading graphs.  Assign workshops 17,18, and 19.

Tuesday:  Take notes and discuss the units of measurement and the metric system.  Assign workshop 21 & 22.

Wednesday:  Advisory Day.

Thursday:  Take notes and discuss conversion rates for currency and rounding.  Assign workshops 23 & 24.

Friday:  Take notes and discuss scientific notation and problem solving.  Assign workshops 28 & 29. 

Lesson Plans for Quarter 1 - Week 2, September 4-7

Monday:  No School - Labor Day.

Tuesday:  Go over the Pre-Test.  Take notes and discuss multiplying and dividing fractions.  Assign workshop 8 & 9.

Wednesday:  Take notes and discuss adding and subtracting fractions.  Assign workshops 10 & 11.

Thursday:  Take notes and discuss comparing fractions and conversion of percents, decimals, and fractions.  Assign workshops 12 & 13.

Friday:  Take notes and go over negative numbers and finding averages.  Assign workshops 15 & 16.

Monday:  1st Day of Class - Go over classroom expectations, course syllabus, program goals, and hand out course materials.

Tuesday: Business Math Pre-Test

Wednesday: Review Pretest.  Take notes and go over examples of reading/writing numbers and rounding numbers.  Assign workshops 1 & 2.

Thursday:  Take notes and go over examples of adding and subtracting decimals.  Assign workshops 4 & 5.

Friday:  Take notes and go over multiplying and dividing decimals.  Assign workshops 6 & 7.

Wednesday:  Senior are absent - small class.  They can work on Vocabulary or work ahead and watch part 2 of understanding insurance.

Thursday:  Watch Part 2 and Part 3 of the Understanding Insurance Video.

Friday:  Round Table discussion on Insurance.  Work on the insurance packet.
