About Me

Hi, my name is Mike Heino and this is my 29th year teaching at Sebeka High School.  I am the Business Education Department, the Business Professionals of America (BPA) Advisor, Yearbook Advisor, and participate in several other activities and committees.

My education started at Sebeka High School.  I graduated in 1991 from Sebeka.  Then I earned my Associates Degree from Hibbing Community College in 1993.  In 1995 I graduated from Bemidji State University with a Business Administration/ Finance degree. Then 1997-98 I went back to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities for my Masters in Education.  Currently, I am taking Masters in Business Administration classes from Moorhead and Southwest State Universities.

I am married with two children.  My wife Molly and I have been married for over 29 years.  My daughter Megan is a graduate of Sebeka School and currently working at Wadena/Deer Creek School as a 4th Grade Teacher.  My son Mason is a 2021 graduate of Sebeka School and is working as a Relay Technician at Great River Energy in Wadena.

My free time is spent with family, friends, and sporting activities.
