Aurora of CNY MCIRS Interpreter Services is a small non-profit organization that reinvests funds gleaned from interpreting into Deaf social work and vocational programming. The CAPS Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program, serving central Massachusetts and the greater Boston area, is a public school-based program for students ages 3-22 who are deaf or hard of hearing. CAPS Collaborative partners with local public-school systems to ensure equitable communication access and educational opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing students. The preschool & elementary program operates within the Ayer-Shirley regional school district in central Massachusetts and the middle/high school programs operate in Newton, Massachusetts, just outside Boston. Students have opportunities for small-group instructions and full inclusion in the general education setting. Our staff include ASL interpreters, Teachers of the Deaf, Bilingual/Bimodal Speech Language Pathologists, Counselors and Paraprofessionals.

Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa

Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and AmeriCorps grantee, engages hundreds of youths and young adults each year in programs and initiatives that improve access to outdoor recreation, restore natural habitat, protect waterways, and respond to community needs and natural disasters. In CCMI's Summer Youth Corps (SYC) program, crew members receive environmental and job-skills training while working in crews with high school youth and two AmeriCorps crew leaders. Crew members live, work, and play together in this residential program from early-July to mid-August while conserving natural spaces and improving parks throughout Minnesota and neighboring states. Since the late 1970's SYC has run American Sign Language affinity crews, making space for cross-cultural sharing among community members as well as internship opportunities for new and emerging Sign Language Interpreters.

Onondaga- Cortland- Madison Counties BOCES

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing program with OCM BOCES serves children with a hearing loss who require support beyond the general education classroom setting. Educational options vary depending on the needs of the student. The K-12 grade program is based in the Solvay Union Free School District and has served 36 school districts in Central New York for more than 45 years.

The specialized staff works with students who utilize differing technology (Cochlear Implant processors, hearing aids, iPads and other assistive devices) and who use a variety of preferred communication modalities (oral with no knowledge/use of sign language, use of sign support, and exclusive use of sign language). Classroom instruction is based on the NYS Learning Standards. Some students may have other disabilities as well as hearing loss. Students receive related services as indicated in their individual IEP.

Partners Interpreting (PI)

Partners Interpreting (PI) is a full-service sign language interpreting and captioning company that provides a full suite of language and communication access services. PI is a recognized, quality language service provider. We support our clients with expertise in the following: Interpreting, Real-time Captioning (CART/C-Print), Post-Production Captioning, Video Remote Interpreting (VRI), and Sign Language/English Translations.  We support new and novice interpreters through our internship and apprenticeship programs .

The Randleman Program

The vision of the Randleman program is to recruit and retain interpreters of color across the field of interpreting. It is fundamental that the interpreting field reflects the unique, diverse, and rich cultural experiences within the Deaf community. By supporting and increasing representation of interpreters of color, we celebrate how the field of interpreting can flourish through cultural competency and diverse perspectives. While the Randleman Program encourages participation by interpreters of color, the program is open to all interpreters, regardless of race, color, and/or national origin.

READS Collaborative

READS Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides educational services within a public school setting in Massachusetts from Pre-K through high school. The DHH program classrooms are located within 4 of the Norton Public Schools and Bristol-Plymouth Technical High School in Taunton. The preschool setting is a self-contained classroom with specialized programming.  At the lower elementary level, students are introduced to mainstream classes to gradually teach them how to use an interpreter.  Academics are provided with the DHH classroom settings until the students are ready to participate in mainstream classes.  As the students reach upper elementary and middle school levels, they have the opportunity to continue to receive primary academic instruction with the DHH classes or to enter the mainstream classes with an interpreter. 

RGC Access

RGC Access is the only local, 501©3 non-profit interpreting referral agency in the state of New Mexico. We offer high quality Sign Language interpreting referral services with a socially conscious framework. RGC Access has a large variety of assignments around the state. Whether you enjoy educational, federal, legal, performance, medical, or just getting out into the community, RGC Access is the agency for you. 

RGC Access also has a Bridge to Work program for recent graduates from interpreting training programs (ITPs). This program is to assist new interpreters entering the field. Working alongside nationally certified interpreters, RGC Access provides supervised on-the-job mentoring along with professional development tasks to ensure that new interpreters are able to develop and enhance their skills with the best support available. Limited contracts are awarded each year to new interpreters through a competitive process.  As a new interpreter in the Bridge to Work program,  you will be placed on safe and appropriate community jobs based on your qualifications and paid opportunities to observe working interpreters. You will also meet with the Bridge to Work coordinator for supervision, establishing interpreting goals, and to review recorded work for feedback. RGC Access contracts our incoming Bridge to Work interpreters on a competitive basis each year. 

RIT/NTID Department of Access Services

The RIT/NTID Department of Access Services has three offerings for graduating ASLIE seniors:  full-time sign language interpreter Staff positions, the Apprentice Program, and full-time positions as Real Time Captionists.

Sign Language Connection

SLC – Sign Language Connection is an interpreting agency that provides language access to individuals that requires interpretation services in American Sign Language and Spanish. SLC has a responsibility to oversee scheduling interpreters on a daily basis as well as receiving requests from vendors on a daily basis. By providing interpreting services, this ensures that the Deaf community and their partners are receiving equitable language access. SLC has contracts with vendors in the medical, legal, education, and community fields, and serves 6 counties.

Sign Language Resources Inc. was established in 1989 in the Hudson Valley region of New York and has expanded to cover New York City, Long Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey, along with nationwide contracts. It is the largest employer of k-12 interpreters in NYC and is always looking to add interpreters for both education and community settings. Riækt Consulting is an Alaskan based Deaf Education consulting company. Owner Hillarie Gossett is a sibling of Deaf Adults and manages the Educational contracts, while Mary Putnam is a mother of Deaf Adults and oversees the Deaf Education department. We work with independent contractors specializing in Sign Language Interpreting, Deaf Education, and Behavioral Aides with ASL skills and place them within the educational environment. MyASLTeacherROCKS,LLC

Under the leadership and vision of Ms. Somer Stanley, and our director of Interpreting Services Ms. Yalanda Allgood. We have brought together professional interpreters and members of the Deaf community to bridge the learning gap for emerging interpreters from the ITP classroom to the real world of professional interpreting. TerpsROCK Initiative welcomes everyone, however due to the unique challenges faced by ITP students of color, our mission is to increase the number of black and brown certified interpreters within the profession. ​ Across the US, agency's and consumers have expressed their concerns regarding the shortage of qualified interpreters. This is largely attributed to the lack of proper mentoring and development provided to emerging interpreters following graduation. Finding adequate mentors and low risk opportunities to develop their skillset can be challenging. In collaboration with our partners, we offer a variety of resources designed to meet you where you are on your interpreting journey. ​ Some of the resources we provide through TerpsROCK, include language model mentors, professional mentors, novice interpreter focused workshops, developmental courses, immersion classes, live and mock interpreting assignments, as well as assistance with testing costs.
