Add your Alpha counselor to your Common App under the "FERPA & Recommenders" tab (PDF Guide)
Please do NOT use the counselor's email that ends in "g.risd.org".
Use the following format: firstname.lastname@risd.org -- Example: Jane.Washington@risd.org).
Please visit the Contacts page on this website to find your counselor's first and last name.
Your Alpha Counselor will then:
upload your official transcript. Common App will send to all colleges to which you apply.
upload School Profile and Top 10% letter (if applicable). Common App will send to all colleges to which you apply.
upload a Letter of Recommendation if you have have completed the Senior Rec Packet. See Letters of Recommendation page for details.
Transcripts can take 7-14 days to show up in a college portal. Please follow-up with Admissions to confirm receipt.

Assign your Alpha Counselor in Apply Texas (First.Last@risd.org)
Fill out LHHS Transcript Request - This form must be completed for each college.
LHHS Graduates: If your college does not take Greenlight, complete this Final Transcript Request.
LHHS Registrar, Tanna Badger, will send out your transcript to the requested college.

RISD partners with GreenLight Locker so students can have access to electronically send their official digital transcripts at any time to help with their college, scholarship, military, or job applications. GreenLight also allows students to send credentials to colleges, scholarship providers, employers, and military agencies of their selection. Students will also have the ability to upload test scores, certificates, resumes, recommendation letters, immunizations and student aid reports.
Go to https://greenlightlocker.com/register and click on “I’m a student” and then select “Register without enrollment code"
Start typing your school institution (Lake Highlands High School) and select "Richardson ISD" from the list.
Enter your RISD Student ID, Date of Birth, and Last name as it appears in FOCUS. Then click the “Verify” button. (If you have a double last name, be sure to enter both names)
If the information you have provided matches our records, you will be shown the rest of the registration form. Fill out all the required fields and select a username and a password you will remember.
The password must be at least 12 characters with one uppercase, one lowercase, and one special character.
Use your personal email address for registration so that you can retain access to GreenLight even after you graduate.
Go to your personal email: click on the link in your validation email to activate your GreenLight Locker after completing the form.
Transcript Menu: You can send RISD and Dallas College transcripts via Greenlight
Certifications Menu: You can send Mengingitus vaccine records, TSI Scores, Top 10% Letters, and TX College Bridge certificates

How to share your transcript with Colleges, Employers and Scholarship providers
How to apply to colleges using Enrollment Fast Pass in GreenLight
Students who wish colleges to consider their Dallas College courses for admission or credit purposes must share their transcript. The first step to sharing your transcript is to add it into your Greenlight Locker. See instructions below.
Go to https://greenlightlocker.com/register (Do not log in)
Click on the Register button
Select “I’m looking for an enrollment code.”
Enter all the required information to receive your enrollment code. (Dallas College & DCCC ID)
Copy the enrollment code.
Log into your RISD GreenLight Locker account
Click on “My Credentials” and “Claim New Credential.”
Paste your enrollment code in the box and click the “Verify & Add” button. You should now see your Dallas College transcript in your locker. (If not, log out and log back in)
Share your Dallas College transcript with your college.
Students who wish colleges to consider their OnRamps courses for admission or credit purposes must share their transcript. Please visit the UT OnRamps site for instructions.
Log into your Greenlight Locker account and click "Request Transcript" (Green Button)
Verify you can see your Senior Year Semester 2 classes. (For example, check to see you have earned 1 credit in English instead of .5 credit)
Send Credentials to "Academic Institution" - type in your college name and select the correct option.
If your college does not show up in the list, then use the Send Credentials to "Via Email (Employers, Colleges, Other) option. You will need to input the college registrar's transcript email. Contact your college for details.
Greenlight transcripts automatically list your SAT, ACT, and TSI scores. If you do not want these to show on your transcript, be sure to UNCHECK the "Include SAT/ACT Test Assessments on Transcript" checkbox.
To download a copy of your transcript without the test scores, then use the email feature and email it to yourself.
Greenlight Locker does not print a full graduation date on the transcript. If you college requires it to say 05/22/2026, then please fill out this form. (LINK)

To share your OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT with your college/university, use the send to "Academic Institution" option.
Select College name from the list.
If you college is unlisted, then use the email feature. Contact your college admissions office for the appropriate email address.
Be sure to click the "Include SAT/ACT Scores" toggle button if you wish to share your scores.
To share your OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT with your college/university, use the "Via Email" option.

To download an UNOFFICIAL copy of your transcript without the test scores, please use the email feature and email it to yourself.
