College, Career, & Military Readiness (CCMR) is the measurement of how prepared a student is for academics beyond high school, the workforce, or a career in the military. In Richardson ISD, it is an expectation that students meet or exceed their CCMR measurements. To accomplish this, RISD offers multiple state of Texas approved pathways to CCMR success.

The TSI Assessment2 (TSIA2) is part of the Texas Success Initiative enacted by the Texas State Legislature and is designed to determine a student’s readiness for college-level coursework in the general areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. TSIA2 (or one of its exemptions) is required for students entering any Texas college or university (including Community College).
