Option 2): Order official Transcripts for College Admission on GreenLight:
No need to wait for the counselor's office to submit your transcript. You can log in to your GreenLight Locker at any time and send your transcripts to the colleges or scholarship committee directly.
Once you add your counselor as a recommender on Common App and complete the FERPA waiver, your counselor can upload and send your official transcript to the colleges you’re applying to.
Pay close attention to deadlines, especially if they fall during a school break or holiday.
If your deadline is coming up while school is closed, you can use GreenLight Locker to send your official transcript directly to the college.
Plan ahead! Don’t wait until the last minute, and reach out if you have questions.
GreenLight Locker allows you to access and send your official transcript and other academic records to colleges, scholarships, employers, and other organizations.
Select “I’m a Student” and choose “Register without enrollment code.”
Select Richardson ISD as your school district.
Enter your:
RISD Student ID
Date of Birth
Last Name exactly as it appears in your school records
Click Verify.
Complete the registration form and create a username and password. Your password must be at least 12 characters, including an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and special character.
Use your personal email address, not your RISD email, so you can keep access to your account after graduation.
Check your email and click the verification link to activate your account.
Log in to your GreenLight Locker and make sure you can see your high school transcript.
Important: If you already have a GreenLight account through Dallas College, dual credit, or another program, do not create a second account. You may need to claim your RISD transcript within your existing GreenLight account instead.
