Hello Bobcats!
Welcome back to another week of at-home learning. I’m super excited for this week’s physical education activities. These exercises focus on making all parts of your body stronger and healthier, both on the inside and outside. There are pictures and videos to serve as examples, if you need a visual reference.
I hope you and your family are doing well. Remember, all physical activity is fantastic. It’s recommended that you get 60 minutes of activity per day, so these activities are a great start, but see if you can take a fast walk or bike ride around the neighborhood. Always remember your safety rules like wearing a helmet, looking both ways before crossing the street, and have a grown-up with you.
Last, I really miss seeing all of you. I hope you are enjoying learning from home and are doing your best. If you need anything from me, any questions, or want to share successes, please do so by sending me an email or sharing on Seesaw. Stay healthy, stay safe, stay strong!

Hello Bobcats!
I hope you and your family are doing well and are finding time to get your work done but also be a kid and play outside. As a Physical Education teacher, I also hope you’re having fun with the PE activities that have been shared with you.
This week I worked with other PE teachers and we found a lot of songs that we have moved and grooved to, and some that might be new. These are some fun songs that you can move along to. Give them a try. Some songs will be challenging, but persevere.
I would love to hear from you or it’d be great to see you in action from a picture or a video that you can share on SeeSaw. Feel free to contact me directly, too. You can email me at andrew.long@rentonschools.us. Mrs. Kullberg also says, “Hello,” and that she misses all of you as well.
Stay safe, stay strong Bobcats!

Hey Bobcats!
I hope you are all doing well, working hard, and staying safe by staying home.
Try to stay active too as you complete some academics at home. We’ve had some great weather so you can try these activities outside if you’d like to get some fresh air. These are some fun and quick activities. Extra challenge: try to get your parents and/or siblings to do them with you.
Good luck, and remember you can always reach out to me, as I’d love to hear from you.

Hello Bobcats. Welcome back again to physical education at home. Please remember to take care of yourself, and have fun! I have a few different activities for you this week. These work on our cardio-respiratory endurance exercises, locomotor, and non-locomotor skills. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, I’d love to hear from you. You can reach me using email: andrew.long@rentonschools.us
Physical Education Activity 1
Watch this fun 10-minute video. As you may have heard, the Summer Olympics have been delayed. But, we can start training for the Olympics so we can be ready. Try and follow along as long as you can. If you get tired, take a brief water break and then try to finish the workout.
Physical Education Activity 2
Take a walk or bike ride around your neighborhood.
Make sure a grown up is with you. And remember, walk on the sidewalks, if available. If not, we walk on the side of the road going opposite of traffic. And always remember to look both ways before crossing a street.
If you take a bike ride, make sure a grown up can be with you. And remember to wear a helmet, ride on the sidewalk if possible. If there is no sidewalk, ride on the side of the road going with traffic.
