In 2017 we brought in the famous 'Avison Ensemble', led by the renowned Baroque violinist, Pavlo Beznosiuk, to run a workshop with our students.

Soon after this workshop we produced a CD of the Baroque Ensemble that featured music by Vivaldi, Bach, and Purcell, along with works by Charles Avison from Newcastle and John Garth from Durham.

Sometimes we even combine our ensembles. Here the Baroque Ensemble accompanies the Classical Choir in a performance of Pergolesi's 'Stabet Mater'.
