This module specialises in the performance of music, utilising the skills that you have already acquired. For this you offer a performance as either a soloist on an instrument or voice or as part of an ensemble.

These performances need to be a minimum of 10 minutes in duration, but can be made up of a number of pieces recorded at different times. You will prepare for these performances in one-to-one sessions with either Steve or Simon.

Towards the end of the course your performances are recorded and these recordings are sent to an exteral examiner. You are allowed to rerecord your pieces as often as required (within reason) with your best performances sent to be marked. A minimum standard of grade 5 is required for these pieces.
