Parent Advisory Council
St. Francois School has an active Parent Advisory Council, which meets once a month. You are welcome to attend meetings as a member at large. Our current PAC is looking for more members. Please contact the school office if you would like to get involved!
Our school has an active Parent Advisory Council (PAC) which meets monthly. The PAC function is to:
Advise the principal on school matters as they pertain to school improvements, policies, organization, and activities.
Participate in the development of the annual school plan.
Participate in school reviews and receive feedback on actions taken.
Promote community interest, understanding, and involvement in the school and its governance.
Establish ongoing communication with all parents of the children enrolled in the school and with community regarding activities, expenditures and recommendations. The council is representative of their priorities and concerns.
Supports school activities through fundraising projects.
Community Involvement
Parents and guardians wishing to volunteer in the school are welcome to contact the principal for further information about requirements.
Volunteers are an important part of our school. We welcome your support. Volunteers are required to complete a Criminal Record check and Child Abuse Registry check, depending on the activity. Please contact the office regarding this process.
