PERRY HONORS DIPLOMA:
A student wishing to earn an honors diploma must meet all of the following requirements: four years of both math and science, two years of a foreign language (or be bilingual), a year of Composition, a minimum cumulative g.p.a. of 3.25, and at least two semesters of successful completion of AP courses or college courses.
Students should choose courses which help prepare them for their future. Course choices will depend on whether a student is planning to attend a 4 year college, a community college, or enter the military or job market. Please note requirements to graduate from high school are different than requirements to be admissible to a 4 Year College.
The Iowa Regents Universities (Iowa, Iowa State University, and UNI) have minimal course requirements and highly recommend 4 year course planning.
