Topic Area: Connections Team Building

Objective: Students will participate in a couple ice breaker activities

ASCA Mindsets & Behaviors Standard (s): M2, B-SS 3 

Materials: 

• Pen

• Crossword sheets (Those will be in your  mailbox)

Procedures:

Part I

1. Ask participants to line up in a row in order of the month and date of birth, with January 1 being on the left side of the room and December 31 on the right side of the room. 

2. Let participants know they may not use any verbal communication during the activity. 

Part II

1. Distribute the crossword sheets

2. Have students work individually on them

3. The first one done with the crossword wins!

4. Send the winner to the counseling office for a sweet treat.
