What is Game Design?
The Game Design programme invites students to explore how games can serve not only as a source of enjoyment but also as powerful tools for problem-solving, creativity, and self-expression. Students learn how game mechanics, storytelling, and player experience can be intentionally designed to convey ideas and shape human behaviour. Working with accessible industry-standard tools such as Unity, participants experiment with designing their own interactive experiences while gaining insight into the principles that make games engaging and meaningful. The programme emphasises autonomy and agency, encouraging students to make design choices that reflect their interests and perspectives. Through hands-on creation, iteration, and play-testing, students discover how game design offers a dynamic platform for exploring real-world issues and expressing their unique voices.
