Google Meet

Video Chat Service On The Go‎

Google Meet is a lightweight video chat service that allows you to hold an ad-hoc video conference on the go. Connect with your students virtually through secure video calls and messaging and engage their curious minds even beyond campus.

You need to log in to the NIE portal.

*NEW* You Can Now Add a Grid View Option to Google Meet!

Normally when you are in a Google Meet video conference, you can only show at most 4 people at a time. You do this by clicking the three dots button in the bottom right corner and choosing "Change Layout", and then selecting the "Tiled" view. But what if you want to see everyone in the Meet?

Now, Google Meet Grid View has the ability to view all participants in a grid. It is easy to enable: simply click on the button below and hit the blue "Add to Chrome" button. The extension will then pop up in your toolbar, and the grid box will be visible in the upper right-hand corner of your next Google Meet chat.

Three simple steps to start your Google Meet!

1. Start a video meeting

2. Join a video meeting

3. Add people to a meeting
