One-Click Virtual Classroom Using a Completely Web-Based Interface
Instructors may create virtual classrooms and online meeting spaces to share presentation materials and communicate with their students via synchronous audio, video and messaging tools. Collaborate with the Ultra experience opens right in your browser, so you don't have to install any software to join a session.
Additionally, the online sessions can also be recorded and your students simply need to click the link to access the online recording. You can find Blackboard Collaborate Ultra under Control Panel > Course Tools.

- Is there a recommended browser? [YES] Chrome is the recommended browser. Check the Ultra Browser Information.
- Can I create multiple web conferencing sessions? [YES] Multiple sessions can be created. They can also be created with or without a start/end date. A session without a specified end date will remain open and accessible indefinitely.
- Can I invite participants from outside the University? [YES] There will be a guest link once you have created the session.
- Can I share content such as files (image, PPT or PDF), screen and whiteboard? [YES] Once you are inside the session, you are able to.
- Can a web conference be recorded? [YES] You have to click on "Start Recording" before you starts your session.
- Can a web conference recording be downloaded? [YES] A conference recording can be downloaded as an MP4.
- Is there a maximum attendee limit? [YES] Ultra web conferencing sessions are currently limited to 250 participants.
- Can I download my recordings? [YES] Before your session starts, under Session Settings, check Allow recording downloads. After the session, click on the Menu > Recordings (Refer to the images below)
