Respondus Quiz Management Tool

Respondus is an assessment tool available to NIE faculty that makes it easy to compile and manage quizzes to be published directly to a Blackboard course. Quizzes can be created offline using a Windows PC environment (Mac or Linux are not supported) as well as moved from one Blackboard course to another.

Respondus enables you to:

• Create quizzes with up to 15 question types, including calculated and algorithmic formats.

• Import multiple questions from existing documents (.rtf, .txt, .csv, .doc, .docx, .xml).

Working with Respondus takes only three steps:

1. Install the Respondus software on your computer. Submit a request at NTU ServiceNow for the NIE campus-wide software installer and license.

2. Compile your quiz questions in a Word document (or any of the other supported formats) according to Respondus standards for question formatting.

3. Publish your quiz to a Blackboard course or print it to use in the classroom.
