What is Course Analytics?
What is Course Analytics?
Course analytics report provides summary information about your course and comparative information against a group of other NTULearn courses in the same academic department. This report can help to analyze a particular course is designed, how the course compares to the average of other courses in the same department, and how the students in the course are using and performing in the course compared to the average of all students enrolled in the course.
Why would I use Course Analytics?
Why would I use Course Analytics?
To understand what aspects of the online content are working well
To see trends in student interactions
To report on areas of learner engagement within a course
To assess of student performance on learner outcomes
To compare your use of Blackboard with other courses in your academic department
What are the four reports available?
What are the four reports available?
There are 4 different report types that are available .
Course At-a-Glance: : Interactions, submissions, and time in course compared to similar courses in your department.
Activity and Grade Scatter Plot: Scatter plot of your course activity and grades in the course.
Activity Matrix: Compares each student's number of submissions to the average across all students in the course. Includes a graph of submission trends over the entire term, number of submissions, the average number of submissions in the course, days since the student's last submission, and last submission type.
Course Submission Summary: Submission information for each student including assignments, tests, surveys, and graded discussions, blogs, journals, wikis.
