The purpose is that students will gain knowledge and be able to apply the knowledge gained to their daily lives, which are like insights or mottos. Moreover, the purpose of the practicum is for students have learn in a learning style. Because designing activities in a learning style, students can create or design a variety of activities under the same content.
1. Receive and review the content to be taught.
2. Create a lesson plan.
3. Consult with cooperating teachers and supervisors for the appropriateness of organizing activities.
4. Prepare lesson and teaching material.
5. Practice teaching in class.
6. Meeting/evaluation after training.
I always imagined teaching students entirely in English. I can't deny that I'm a bit worried. But after teaching I gained a lot of experiences which fulfilled my spirit as a teacher. And my worries vanished I learned how to teach, control the classroom, and organize appropriate activities. etc. from my cooperating teacher. Apart from that, I also get various perspectives and techniques from my buddies. I can apply these things to teaching at different grade levels. Including advice from the cooperating teacher and other teachers who tell us the good points and shortcomings that need to be corrected These two things were very helpful to me. I will keep the good things improve on the shortcomings for future use and prepare myself to be a well-rounded teacher in all areas.
The result of learning is understanding the importance of subjects, techniques, school systems, and curricula, leading to the design of learning plans that respond to the abilities of diverse learners. And before the actual teaching, it is necessary to practice, which allows me to know my own style and way of speaking. This has a positive effect on developing better speaking skills.
The challenge of teaching is communicating in English all the time in the classroom. Because I'm not sure how much I can explain to students. Listening to students explain during discussions was also a challenge for me. Because some students wore masks and some spoke quite softly, I couldn't understand them. That's why I used the method of walking closer to the students in order to hear them more clearly.
I am really thankful for the opportunity that the University of Santo Tomas and Dominican School Manila accepted me to be a student teacher in the Sea-teacher Project. Thank you to the principal, all the teachers, and all students. Especially, my cooperating teacher. I got a really warm welcome from you. I got lots of experience here when I did an observation. When I saw her teaching, I knew the ways to control the class, how to make the class enjoy the lessons, and how to teach by placing students at the center. Every after the class, she always gave me suggestions about the way to control and the way to teach. She gave me the opportunity to teach the students. That made me know how different between Thai students and Filipino students. For that, I can adapt all the experiences I have to teach my students when I return. Moreover, it is not just the ways to teach. I also knew Filipino culture. I saw the way the students prayed before starting the lesson and before they moved to study another subject. I love the way they respect the teacher or the elders.
Thank you for the opportunity that the dean of Education Faculty, the principal of Education High School, all the professors, teachers, and the supervisor gave to me and my friends. And especially, Ma'am Ailyne who is our mentor in this project. I really thank you for the kindness, the help, and the advice. You are like our mom. And we really appreciate it!
Thank you for the SAE Teacher Project which made me meet a lot of good experiences and awesome people here in the Philippines!

1. Setting clear goals for participating in the program. No matter what you do, you must never forget what your main purpose is for coming here.
2. Ask when you don't understand. Don't be afraid to ask when in doubt. Because keeping those doubts to yourself cannot make you understand.
3. Besides asking, you must be observant. Observe various techniques or methods and the way of life of people in that country.
4. Always think positively.
5. Don't be afraid of exploring. Once you arrive in your chosen country, go explore its landmarks.
